Effective hair removal technology
Laser hair removal is the main purpose of the KIERS-144 diode system. Hair removal occurs according to the physical laws of selective photothermolysis. The energy of the emitter is predominantly absorbed by tissue chromophores – hemoglobin in the blood and melanin in the hair. At the same time, the absorption of pulse energy by other tissues is minimal – thus achieving a selective effect.
When laser flashes are applied, the hair chromophores are heated to critical temperatures, which inevitably leads to the destruction of the follicle.
- At the same time, the contents of the blood vessels feeding the hair follicle are heated and coagulated.
- The blood supply to the area is suspended and subsequently the hair in this area stops growing.
The wavelength of the KIERS KES-144 diode laser is 808 nm, which ensures penetration into the skin to a depth of 4 mm – to the level of the hair growth zone.
