PICOPLUS offered four wavelengths: 532 nm, 595 nm, 660 nm, and 1064 nm. This variety of options gave it the versatility to treat even the most difficult cases. PICOPLUS has inherited this novel feature but operating in the powerful and stable picosecond domain. The availability of specialized handpieces at four different wavelengths, combined with the ps-domain pulse width, makes the removal of both multicolored and black tattoos even more effective.

How It Works
The longer the pulse, the higher the temperature and the risk of resulting thermal damage to the surrounding tissue. With the shorter pulse width (pico seconds) you can now use the maximum power settings without risking tissue damage. Fast and safe. Nano creates larger particles that are difficult for the body to remove. Pico creates microparticles that the body can break down more easily.

PICOPLUS is intended to remove traumatic tattoo (for 1064nm), to remove solar lentigines (for 532nm, 660nm) and to improve the early-stage Erythematotelangiectatic rosacea (for 595nm).

The power of the picoplus analysis is in the pulse duration. Compared to longer pulses, the ultra-short pulse duration of 450 picoseconds keeps the temperature lower, significantly reducing the risk of thermal damage to surrounding tissue. This allows practitioners to use the maximum power settings without the risk of tissue damage. In addition, the PicoPlus generates microparticles that can be more easily broken down by the body, unlike nanosecond lasers that create larger particles. As a result, faster and more effective pigment removal is achieved.
